They added a beautiful, funky chandelier where I work…
I love it!
Happy Easter!
First is my daughter in her Easter finest, followed by us all at Horizon’s Park, enjoying walking about in the beautiful sunshine.
My kids and I had a great time in Bethania today,
walking around and enjoying the sunshine. Emma was here for Easter, so it was nice for the three of us to be outside like we always used to, exploring and taking it all in.
I love the look of Polaroids.
I’ve mentioned before that I still love shooting Polaroids and do quite often, mostly using one of my SX-70s. But sometimes I don’t have my Polaroid with me but I still want that look, so I’ve discovered the Instant app for my phone. I love it. It even sounds like a Polaroid when you shoot it and it slowly develops right before your eyes!
Random shots in my studio…
Another studio shoot tonight…
I love this model. She always seems to know just what I am looking for and is very easy to work with.
I like my portraits messy. I like to create mystery. I’m not really big on toothy grins, though some of my students are so I have to work with that. But when my models look at me, they know I want some kind of attitude in the portrait, something that makes you wonder…
So here are a few from tonight. We are still doing vintage vogue-type photos, so I am working with tone on these to create an older look, this time from the 50s.
