This is a bluebird that lives in my front yard.

I watched him/her one day last summer, flying back and forth to the nesting box.  I took my zoon lens and sat on my front porch and took photos as a pair of bluebirds flew from the phone wire to the nesting box, to the phone wire, to the ground, to the nest, back to the wire, etc.

I took a lot of photos of the pair in flight and this is one of them.  I painted the background and singled out the bird to make it more striking.  I never realized that they also have green and yellow on their wings.
