I found an old hat box that used to belong to my grandmother.
Even though it is falling apart, I love the graphics. I tried to photograph as much of it as I could before it totally falls apart.

What’s on a person’s desk says a lot about their personality.
These items are from Tony’s desk, taken this morning as he slept. Tony’s desk is very tidy and organized, and rarely is anything out of place. But it’s not boring by any means, and here is why…(and the mandala is a window decal, not on his desk, but I loved how it looked against the snowy parking lot)

I’ve been playing with my SX-70 again…
This time I was taking photos of the snow outside and a mistake happened: an overexposed photo of a tree in the snow. Instead of throwing it out, I painted it a bit and here’s the end result…

I have to admit I love snow.
I feel like a kid when it snows, giddy with the thought of watching it fall from the sky and staying snug and warm inside my home. I just love it and never grow tired of the feeling I have when I first see it falling from the sky.
We got our first real snow of winter today. The photos below I took at night on a tripod, hence the odd colors.

The family and I went to Asheville today to take my daughter back to school…
While there, we went to Harvest Records, a great little record shop in a part of town I had never been to. Tony is a big lover of record stores, as I am, so we had a great time.
The kids, well, they got bored quickly, but it was great to see them talking in a corner and getting along well!
